Montreal Culinary Delight

If one thing Montreal is known for, it is the food! Montreal is known to have one of the best foods in Canada . You must try the Secret Food Tour in Montreal.

The uniqueness of French influence fused into indescribable bakeries around the city to a melting pot of different ethnic food, this is my Montreal!

Secret Food Tour

This past Sunday I decided to join the Secret Food Tour in Montreal. This is my 2nd food tour with them & all I can say is that I love them! What is discovering a culture without tasting their food? It is like wearing a Versace without feeling their craftsmanship? You get the idea? Great !

I met my group and we were all Canadians , I was the only one from Quebec as well as my tour guide Adam. He was knowledgeable about Quebec and made my tour more enjoyable. There is so much to discover in Montreal !

Boulangerie Guillaume

It was approximately 11:30 am and our first stop was at this bakery stop on St Laurent. I have already written about them when I first discovered them, Boulangerie Guillaume! All I can say is that I can stay in there and just eat and eat. Premiere Moissan will surely have a fierce competition.

We strolled around Mile End & it was such a great choice however let me clarify something about Montreal. Montreal has so many diverse neighbourhoods each with each own flair of food.

Go to Little Italy with an Italian influence, go downtown with a sense of Korea. Just east of Montreal you will see an influx mix of food. It is endless.

As I mentioned in many of my articles, when I am not travelling I love to discover my city. I am always open to new events in the city therefore I decided the Secret Food Tour.

Pasta Della Nonna

After the Boulangerie Guillaume we stopped at Pasta della Nonna. What a great concept to serve gnocchi’s from an open window. The tomato sauce was delicious & gnocchi perfect consistency ! They have been in that spot 22 years ! If it was not for this tour I would never have seen this place.
