How to Spend a Weekend in Prague

Having travelled to many European cities, Prague was a fairly easy one explore as the rest. If a weekend escape intrigues you, why not try Prague! A city filled with history and an eclectic art scene ,prepare to squeeze it all in.

Prague is a walkable city so find a good walking tour guide to learn surprising facts you will never have known about this city. There are walking tours starting from Prague Castle to Old Town and jewish Prague with a river cruise on the Vltava River, that’s the one I took . You get a good taste of the city if time is limited. Indeed a walk on Saint Charles bridge will be included.
If you like ghost stories and dark backyard allies, dare to go on the Ghost & Legends Tours. Learn about the skeleton on the Astronomical clock or many more . Moving forward, expect a sleepless , anxious night !
Pick your favourite area, explore closer, savour a Pilster beer with a snitzel or indulge in an Austro-Hungarian inspired Goulash. Czech Republic national dish.
My favourite attraction was Old Town and learning about the Jewish Quarter. Very close by there is the Franz Kafka museum, with old letters or photos of his life.
Walking in a city is the best way to go. People watch, live street entertainment or just a picture perfect moment.
I’ve also visited Prague for only a weekend last year and I found out the 2 days are extremely not enough for this city. It is one of the most interesting cities and places in Europe I’ve seen.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I think anywhere adding extra days can be ideal to feel the true essence of a country, but sometimes you must make the most of it. 🙂
