Montreal Mandy’s Salad
I stumbled upon Mandy’s Salad ,roaming aimlessly in the beautiful Old Montreal, snapping away with my Sony A6000, challenging myself with camera’s setting .
Being a tourist in one’s own city has its advantages, no packing, no suitcase, no delays , no dreaded long queues. Just an open mind “tourist mode” perception to view my city Montreal with fresh eyes. This is exactly what I did. It was afterall lunch time, exterior looked inviting , I walked in Mandy’s Salad.
Just like cupid aims your heart, I automatically fell in love with the atmosphere, the theme and decor.

Eating healthy is important whentravelling. I dread the thought of being ill in a hotel, who wouldn’t anyway. This is not to say I will not try their local cuisine, I always do my research on recommended restaurants.
Being in my own city I adopt the same attitude.
Every corner at Mandy’s Salad has unique sense of humour with a touch of eccentricity, including their bathroom; which I adored. Wallpaper decor with pink flamingo art accenting an old fashion huge sink was smart enough to be featured in Elle Decor magazine if hasn’t done so yet.

If the flamingo is your animal totem, it symbolises letting go and having fun with your life. Did I not mention the unique sense of humour of this whole place?
Upon entering Mandy’s Salad , you are immediately drawn to the black and white tiled floors words “this must be the place’ . We all have said this , right ? Very clever!

Delicious, healthy salad with a friendly staff becomes an added experience at Mandy’s Salad .
As a tourist in my own city, I love to find new talents, restaurants or cafes around hidden streets. Come discover our creative geniuses in beautiful Montreal.

Bravo to Mandy’s Salad I will definitely return
