Montreal the Cool City
So finally sunshine is coming our way in Montreal. Walking the streets, I see tourists admiring , enjoying the sights and old charms of the city. I constantly hear ” wow what a cool city Montreal is. ” But wait a minute, I always see them in the same area doing the same touristy thing. I will change this for you, I will show you the cool things to do, not from a sponsored guide book but from a local’s experience, moi!
One of my favourite things to do is walking around Montreal exploring a different neighborhood or discovering a new cool place Montreal has to offer.Since summer is around the corner, I will show you the new “hot spots ” of the city, where to go and the little secrets I know my Montreal has hidden. Are you ready ?
Guillaume bakery is located in the Mile End of Montreal, the most artistic area where artists, musicians or poets call their home. Why would it not be there, when this baker took a traditional idea of bakery to a new concept. These hand crafted breads are of high quality ; the different flavours just bursts in your mouth. If you love breads, pizzas or croissants, you have to come try this place. Get ready for the line-ups though.
Technology Inspired Decor
Who says an urban sleek bakery would never work hasn’t come to Guillaume yet. Here is a bakery that mixed techno inspiration with a touch of rustic sleek to make buying your traditional bread become a full experience and not a dull duty to buy bread for dinner. Guillaume Vaillant, owner and baker of Boulangerie Guillaume understands what Montrealers love. Ambiance, experience and a new cool place to be in.
So when in the Mile End, hurry and get your fit of tasty, scrumptous , flavourful breads, garanteed you will return. I know I did.
